Leonardo Da Vinci
Leonardo da Vinci (15 April 1452 – 2 May 1519) was among the greatest painters in the history of Art known as and is often credited as the founder of the High Renaissance. He is widely admired for his paintings of the Mona Lisa and The Last Supper. He was a painter, portraitist, architect, theorist, sculptor, engineer, inventor, philosopher, and geologist.
Da Vinci lived in a golden age of creativity among such contemporaries as Raphael and Michaelangelo and contributed his unique genius to virtually everything he touched.
